What is being removed, added or changed, and how anyone would know it happened.
Wording it covers
The claim reader flags phrases like these, wherever they appear in an ad:
- “detox”
- “toxin release”
- “boosts immunity”
- “reset your”
- “cellular renewal”
- “rebalancing”
- “restores balance”
What would back it up
- The substance or process, in ordinary words
- How the change would be detected
- Whether anyone has actually measured it
The question to ask
What specifically does this remove or change, and how would anyone measure that it happened?
Can it be checked?
Nothing would count as failing it. No answer could count against it, so asking about it tends to get the same sentence back. Ask about something you can check instead.
