“Master injector” and other job titles
A title isn’t a license. The license type, the board that issued it and the supervising clinician all go unnamed.
Wording it covers
The claim reader flags phrases like these, wherever they appear in an ad:
- “master injector”
- “injection specialist”
- “aesthetic provider”
- “skin expert”
- “certified specialist”
What would back it up
- The license type and number
- The board that issued it, which you can search
- If a certification is claimed: who issued it, and what it required
The question to ask
What license do you hold, what’s the number, and who is your supervising clinician?
Can it be checked?
Could be measured. This is a real question with a real answer. Ask it, and ask for the answer in writing.
Credential. A statement about qualification. Ask for the license and the board that issued it.
